The following outlines our business practises in order to help protect our planet from Global Warming and over-pollution.

We want to make a difference, and we hope that you do too!

We are on 100% Pure Green Energy with Energy Australia, which means that all our electricity is from wind and natural sources, not coal. We are also on 100% pure energy at home where the towels are laundered in Tri Nature phosphate free laundry powder and Sonett Laundry Liquid.

We use corn made bio-degradable, compostable  “non-plastic” bags throughout the salon for all our waste. Made in Australia and Norway.

We Recycle.

We use unbleached calico strips for our waxing, so that we know that bleach and similar chemicals are not involved in the production process and as well, the calico breaks down more easily and naturally into the earth.

Our Wax for our treatments is petroleum free.

Our Talcum powders are petroleum free.

Our Spa Ritual Nail polishes are Soya Based, formaldehyde free and contain no carcinogenic chemicals - often in nail polish to prevent it from chipping.

We use Palm and Beeswax tealight candles in our oil burners, which are paraffin free, and pure essential oils.

We use Tri Nature (made in Australia) and Sonett (made in Germany) products to clean our salon every day, all phosphate free, biodegradable, safe for kids and the waterways. These are all very efficient and price competitive.

We also offer these to you to use in your homes and businesses.

We provide Dr.Hauschka Skincare, Body care and Bath care products which are 100% certified natural as recognised by BDIH, a federal  association of German made products whose “Guidelines for Natural” are the most selective in the world.

We also provide Make-up from Dr Hauschka which is chemical free and allergy-free.

We provide Australian made MV Organic Skincare and body care products, which are a highly regarded skincare system in the Natural Skincare industry.

We stock Weleda Products for babies and mothers, as these contain natural and organic ingredients and are BDIH rated (see above).

We have plant wax candles made from Palm Oil, sourced from Plantation Forests, not Old growth forests. Our fragrances contain 85-100% essential oil.

We also have low wattage Eco Lights made from recycled rimu timber, wax lampshades and energy efficient bulbs. All handmade in NZ, by Living Light.

We provide Pacifica Botanical Soaps made with pure vegetable oils. Made in NZ.
